Information Collection and Use TrueDepth Face Data Collection stackChan uses Apple’s TrueDepth API to collect and process face-related data strictly on-device. The data processed includes facial contours, facial geometry (depth and shape information), and changes in facial expressions captured in real time. Purpose of Data Use The TrueDepth face data is used solely to enable real-time interaction, animation, and communication between the app and the paired hardware device. This data allows the hardware device to respond dynamically to the user’s facial movements and expressions. The face data is not used for user identification, authentication, profiling, advertising, analytics, or tracking purposes. Data Sharing The face data processed using the TrueDepth API is not shared with any third parties. The data is not transmitted to external servers, cloud services, Apple, or any other external entities. Data Storage and Retention All TrueDepth face data is processed in real time on the user’s device only. The data is not stored, retained, logged, backed up, or persisted in any form. Once the real-time processing is complete, the data is immediately discarded. stackChan does not collect, store, or share any personally identifiable information such as name, email address, email address, or contact details. The app does not require user registration. Log Data In case of an error in the app, diagnostic information such as device type, operating system version, and error logs may be generated locally on your device. This information is used solely for debugging purposes and is not uploaded or shared. Face Data and TrueDepth API Usage stackChan uses Apple’s TrueDepth API to process face data, including facial contours, face geometry, and expression changes. This processing is performed entirely on the user’s device in real time. The face data is used exclusively for the purpose of enabling interactive communication and information exchange between the app and the connected hardware device.
